So I'm in Canada again. After weeks of deliberation I decided to leave Moscow. Though I liked living there, I feel like it's not a good time for me to be there now. You may hear of me traipsing about Russia at a future date however.
Before I left I managed to tuck in a trip to St. Petersburg, a move to another flat, a Christmas dinner at the American Bar & Grill, a staff party (replete with pizza, champagne, beer, and a drinking game), and a live guitar show. Oh yeah, and I had my camera stolen when I was on the metro on Christmas Eve. For the rest of my time in Moscow my friends had to witness my mourning over the 200+ lost photos of St. Pete's and two weeks worth of photos from Moscow.
On the 29th I flew to London and paid my aunt and uncle a visit. My flight from London to Vancouver was on the 31st and 2009 greeted me in Fountain Valley. Do you realize that I just travelled back in time? So time travel is possible.
